Lovely hotel, clean, spacious rooms, kind and friendly staff. They gave us poor directions, but we called and they kindly directed us from where we were- it was no problem. I don't know that I would recommend this hotel to a family with active children, but we only have one 8-year old and he enjoyed the antique elevator. He also used the small pool which was very well-cared for. We would stay here again. |

Where to start. The hotel boasts that "most rooms" have views of the river. On what appeared to be a slow occupancy night (5-6 cars in parking lot overnight) our room had a view of the parking lot. The carpet in the room was stained and dirty, and the over bedding was also stained. The breakfast buffet included Cheerios or Raisin Bran, some canned fruit, and less than fresh pastries. |
