Frequently Asked Questions

What is an airline E-Ticket?
An e-ticket is an electronic ticket that replaces a paper ticket. The traveler goes to the airport with the airline flight number and the record number of the reservation (it's on your itinerary). You check in and show government photo identification (for example a driver's license). The airline agent gives you a boarding pass. There is no paper ticket to lose and changes are easily made (when authorized by the airline). Airlines are changing to e-tickets as a matter of customer convenience and cost savings, however not all tickets issued are e-tickets at this time.
