Sacramento, aproximately half way between San Francisco and the Lake Tahoe/Reno area, is at the modern crossroads of Interstates 5 and 80. The restored 'Old Sacramento' is a National Landmark with 53 restored buildings, restaurants, museums, public docks, horse drawn wagon rides, and paddlewheel steamboat.
