The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California is part of the BCS (Bowl Championship Series) and lays claim to "The Grand Daddy of Them All" - it has been held on New Year's Day in the Rose Bowl Stadium since 1923. The 2009 game on January 1, had USC beating Penn State 38-24.
Some of the other Bowl games also have a parade before the game, but the Rose Bowl's Tournament of Roses Parade is the most famous.
