The Riverbanks Zoo & Garden straddle the Saluda River on the western edge of Columbia, South Carolina. The Zoo & Garden are open every day with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas Days and severe inclement weather days. It is handicap (wheelchair) accessible. There are severval places within the zoo providing food and snacks, and also a gift shop.
