Between Williams (about 105 miles east) and Kingman, is the little remote town of Seligman, located on the Old Route 66, just off I-40. From Kingman back east to Seligman, the old road chalks up about 110 miles traveling through tiny Peach Springs before connecting back with I-40. Add this to the 50 miles leading southwest through Oatman to the Colorado River, I-40 and then Needles, CA, makes Kingman, Arizona the home of the longest remaining stretch of Historic Route 66. Seligman offers a cafe and Route 66 memorabilia. Oatman offers more of the same with an added attraction of the town mules, descendants of mules from the mining era. Kingman, itself has plenty of Route 66 attractions including the Powerhouse Route 66 Museum.
