Holiday World and Splashin' Safari, the world's first theme park, is open from early May thru mid-October. Limited hours and days apply during the beginning of May and again throughout mid-August until the end of the season. Holiday World is located in southern Indiana at the junction of Highways 162 and 245 in Santa Claus, Indiana. Except for a few designated Smoking Areas in each of Holiday World's three holiday-themed (Halloween, Fourth of July, and Christmas) sections, Holiday World is a smoke-free park.

Holiday World offers something for everyone. For kids, there is the Indian River Canoes, the Merry-Go-Round Horses, the Airplanes, and several more rides. For bigger (and/or older) “kids,” try the Raging Rapids, Rough Riders Bumper Cars, Scarecrow Scrambler, or the Raven wooden roller coaster. The Raven was voted #1 in the world for wooden roller coasters. There are also 10 five-story racing water slides among the attractions. Holiday World offers six live shows to entertain you. Shows like "Acclaim! A Decade of Winners", a high-energy show highlighting top award-winning performances in the movie and music industry; Diveworks, featuring Olympic-style diving with hilarious high jinks; and Holidog & Friends Sing Along with Safari Sam and friends joining together to meet and dance with kids of all ages.

Holiday World also as 15 food venues, including Barbecue USA, Jungle Jake’s Pizza, Sweet Stuff, and the ZOOMbabwe Grille.
