Snowmass, located just 12 miles from downtown Aspen, features 3,000 acres, 84 trails, and 20 ski lifts capable of processing almost 28,000 people per hour, including the Cirque Lift, the longest vertical lift in America. Skiers and Snowboarders alike can enjoy seemingly endless runs, half pipes, terrain parks, and for the intermediate skiers the famous, "Big Burn" is loved by everyone. Snowmass has its own little village with plenty of lodging, restaurants and activities.
With a single lift ticket you have access to four mountains (from Aspen to Snowmass) on which to ski or snowboard with over 4,000 acres of land. Aspen is a favorite place among many of the rich and famous, and a 'place to be seen' for many of the rest of us.
