Airline and rental car rates and reservations are provided through our global partner WorldSpan. You can access and search for rates without completing a customer registration. Just click on the Flight or Car tab from our homepage and follow the prompts. When you are ready to make a purchase, you will be asked to register on the website via our secure server.

The Most Comprehensive Hotel Directory

Many travel sites claim to have "comprehensive" lodging listings, but the fact is, when it comes to the number and type of properties to choose from and the information available about those properties, our database is number one. We simply have more listings, with more property details than all of the other travel sites—many of which list the same 35,000 or so properties. Our directory offers online reservations at more properties than most other websites even know exist!

Adding Information to Our Hotels Database

The TravelHero Team enters data about lodging properties on a daily basis, resulting in thousands of items of information added to our database each day. This effort is assisted by hoteliers and innkeepers who also add their properties and related information to our site using our online form. If you are a hotelier or innkeeper and wish to add your property, just click on the Hotel Operators link at the bottom of the page.

About The Hotel Directory

The TravelHero Hotel & Reservation System is designed using a geographic look-up format. If you know the specific city, type the city name in the destination city search box found at our hotel search page, or you may just select the state, province, or country and you will be presented those choices. Selecting a state/province will then give you a list of all of the cities in that selection with at least one lodging property. Selecting the city from this list then takes you to a page which displays properties in that city. If you wish to refine your search, you can get to a short list of only those properties that match all of your criteria by using the More Search Options link on the left side of any city page.

If you want to look in cities that are close to, or surrounding, a major city, such as in a metropolitan area, you can select a city from the "Search in Surrounding Cities" drop down box located at the top of any city page that has surrounding cities. The hotels and lodging available in that city will be displayed.

Although our database contains information on thousands of properties, specific information like features and amenities is not available for all 100,000+ accommodations listed in our database at this time. This means that if you do a search in a city that has 100 properties but only 70 of them have provided information for our database, the results you get will be based on the 70 properties. Therefore, if the search function does not produce enough choices for you, you may want to "View all Properties" to see if you can identify a property in which you are already familiar with its features and amenities due to franchise affiliation or property name.

Unique Hotel Search Functions

TravelHero is the only site that also lets you search by distance and direction. Use the More Search Options link on the left side of any city page. For example, if you have a meeting in a large metro area and you know the meeting will be held on the north side of town approximately 15 minutes from down town, you can select the search criteria "North" and "10-20" minutes. The resulting search will give you a list of all properties in the area of your meeting. Therefore, you do not need to be familiar with the city, you need only inquire as to the general vicinity of the meeting area. (Direction and minutes from the metro city center.) Other search functions allow you to search by chain affiliation, property type, price, and features or amenities that are important to you.
